As Let’s Go Fishing enters another season we are in need of volunteers to staff our pontoon fishing and boating trips. A strong volunteer base is the core strength of LGF. We know our volunteers contribute time and expertise to help create memories for program participants.
The boat schedule for summer 2025 is the following:
Tuesday and Thursdays
June – August
AM Cruise – 10AM
PM Cruise – 1PM
The cruises take place on Lake Belle Taine,
Long Lake and Big Mantrap Lake.

Clark Smith was one of our dedicated volunteers. Clark joined our group several years ago and was active as a crew member on cruises, working our dinners, and especially helpful in the kitchen at our Tuesday night bingo. He will be missed.

As Let’s Go Fishing enters another season in the Headwaters Area, we want to thank our devoted volunteers, sponsors, in-kind donors and clients for our successful season last summer. We are looking forward to another fun, heart-warming season this year.
Our primary client base includes senior residents of care facilities, those living at home with support services, and individuals living independently. We also encourage families to book trips that include a senior, veteran or perhaps a disabled individual. There is no cost to anyone as long as we have a senior on board!
Our strong, committed team of trained volunteer captains and first mates offers our guests the best experience possible, whether fishing or simply cruising. We have received many positive comments and notes of appreciation over the years.
